Best Radio Personality: Fuzzy - Virgin

If you're a regular 98.5 Virgin Radio listener or you happen to be in the car between the hours of 4 and 9 a.m. on a weekday, you're probably familiar with this popular radio star's warm voice. As the owner of the “most loved laug”' in Calgary and the future city manager of “unnecessary infrastructure,” Fuzzy has been entertaining the masses for over 17 years. He hosts the radio station's morning show alongside two other outstanding personalities: Tyler Hall, a Hall of Famer when it comes to hardcore karaoke rapping and dad fails, and Danaye Maier, a former Saskie with her own band and cat palace.
As a three-person morning show, COVID-19 really shook up how the trio ran as a team. Over the past few months, Tyler and Danaye have been doing the show from their homes while Fuzzy works in the studio, their former joint office, by himself. The show has run quite smoothly during all of the city's changes, minus a few minor technology hiccups that are really the least of their worries. In addition to waking Calgary up on the radio, Fuzzy has branched out of his usual role to become a certified marriage commissioner appointed by the Government of Alberta, found at Hitched by Fuzz.
