If you're looking for a laugh and a fun night out, Yuk Yuk's has been named the Best Place for Comedy in Calgary once again. Located on 18th Avenue S.E. near the Saddledome, this joint showcases the best stand-up comedians with a live, uncensored cabaret experience. The owners of Yuk Yuk's strive for a “second home and family” culture of respect, caring, inclusiveness and fun, so that you feel welcome the second you step in their door.

As a business based on interaction, socializing, laughter and communal experiences amongst people since 2009, the sudden closure due to COVID-19 was stressful for those working at Yuk Yuk's. Being cut off from their co-workers, comedians, customers and the welcoming atmosphere was painful for many, as they were overwhelmed with worry about the health and safety of their loved ones, their community and their small business. Even though Yuk Yuk's was not included in Phase 1 of reopening, they were right there cheering alongside their small business neighbours as the city began to hope again. Now that they have received the go-ahead to reopen, Yuk Yuk's is doing so with great gratitude, thought and care.
