Get ready for the word ‘brunch’ to take on a whole new meaning; Over Easy Breakfast doesn’t joke around when it comes to breakfast foods. Calgarians from all corners of the city line up for their next taste of fluffy waffles, creamy eggs benedict, steaming hot skillets and fruity beverages as OEB has won the Best Breakfast/Brunch award for another year. A one-two hour long wait for a table at peak times on the weekends is normal for this joint, but thankfully you can reserve your table ahead of time on the Nowait app.
With three locations in Calgary, OEB’s newest location is found in Bridgeland, with the company’s original but smaller location on Edmonton Trail closing last year. The new space provides ample seating in the same trendy atmosphere that we all know and love. Don’t forget about their cute spot in Mission and their busy downtown location serving up the same tasty plates. Try their famous Box’d meals, serving a sophisticated form of breakfast poutine with crispy golden potatoes, in-house hollandaise, local eggs and toppings like lobster, truffles, salmon, chicken, spinach tomatoes, back bacon, you name it.
