The brunch scene in Calgary is bomb. With so many restaurants dedicated to bringing you delectable eggs benny, we find it hard to choose just one. However, Calgary doesn’t. For two years in a row, OEB has been named the Best Breakfast & Brunch in YYC! It’s true, you’re not officially a Calgarian until you’ve stood in line for weekend brunch at the Edmonton Trail Location. However, with the wonders of technology, now you can download the No Wait app and get in line online - fancy that! Wait for your avocado toast in bed - that sounds more like it.
Anyone can tell you that OEB is worth the line-up. The food inside is like no other brunch around, and we mean that. The menu boasts dishes made from locally sourced ingredients like their classic eggs benedict. Our personal favorite is from their ‘box’d’ section - breakfast poutines made with crispy potato wedges, melted cheese and the creamiest hollandaise you’ve ever tasted. Top it off with lobster, truffles, bacon or tomato - it doesn’t matter because it will be amazing regardless. If you’re not looking for breakfast, they have a solid selection of lunch food like their hand-pressed burgers and fresh crisp salads.
