Meet the Dudes. They have been rocking the Canadian music scene in Calgary since 1996 and show no signs of retiring anytime soon. This classic indie rock band sings of triumph, love, loss, cops and kindness. Their sound is inspired by bands like The Flaming Lips, The Descendents, Joel Plaskett and Weezer, and their loyal fans just can’t seem to get enough.
For the third year in a row, we proudly present the Best Musical Act in Calgary award to The Dudes. These four talented individuals have had the chance to tour the globe with bands like Matthew Good, Mother Mother, Weezer, Poor Young Things, Bryan Adams, Pride Tiger, Two Hours Traffic, Hot Hot Heat and Finger Eleven.
