Mike Morrison began his news, travel and entertainment blog in 2006, using a name inspired by author Carrie Bradshaw, when she found herself “drunkity drunk.”

It started as a way to stay in touch with friends and family back in New Brunswick, but gradually his love of writing about all things Canadian, especially entertainment and travel news, grew his website into a favourites tab for his nearly 60,000 visitors each month.

Ten years later, he’s one of the few high-profile Calgary bloggers who’ve been doing so for a decade. Despite the ever-morphing ways of getting the word out over the ol’ interwebs, he’s not afraid to identify himself as a blogger, first and foremost, in his Twitter bio – @mikesbloggity
