Best Theatre Company: One Yellow Rabbit
What started as a group of rebel creatives in 1982 has revolutionized theatre in Calgary. They have created more than 80 productions and have toured across the country and the world showcasing the outstanding talent that makes up the company. It’s most known for its High Performance Rodeo, Calgary’s International Festival of the Arts and is the largest festival of its kind in Western Canada. The next High Performance Rodeo will happen in January 2018. One Yellow Rabbit also hosts an annual Summer Lab Intensive geared towards actors, writers, directors, dancers and other artists interested in performance-based creative practice.
