if you’re look for authentic, finger-licking barbecue, head down to Kensington to try out Hayden Block. The Central-Texas barbeque house has a huge smoker that they had to take the back wall out to get it in the kitchen, so you know it's freshly smoked. Their menu is full of classic barbeque dishes like the brisket or beef short rib, plus to-die-for sides like the baked beans and hush puppies.
On par with their smoked meat is their Whiskey-centric cocktail menu. If you are a whiskey fan, you will feel like you died and went to whiskey heaven. Some of the best include the Vonnegut and the Old Besse. Cheers to pulled pork and homemade barbeque sauce.
