Best Seafood Restaurant: Booker's BBQ Grill & Crab Shack

Located just off the Bow River in Calgary's downtown, Booker's BBQ Grill & Crab Shack has been a local staple since 1998. Famous for their exceptional southern-style cooking, their claim to fame has to be their barbecue. With live shows and great daily specials, Booker's is often packed on weekday nights and all weekend long.
The COVID-19 shut down left Booker's without regular service for over two months. During this time, the kitchen staff had to share a space with three of their other sister restaurants in order to run a takeout service and stay afloat. Slowly the business is bringing back staff members, but they are still not capable of running a full team until more of the government restrictions have been lifted.
After 21 years of serving Calgarians delicious food, Booker's BBQ Grill & Crab Shack would like to be here for at least another 21, so they thank you for your patience and support during this time as they learn new norms of service. With limited dine-in capacity, you can support them by booking a table or ordering from their takeout and delivery offerings.
