OEB

First opening in 2009, OEB has taken over the Calgary brunch scene with three hoppin' locations offering up absolutely mouth-watering dishes with their unique brown-butter hollandaise sauce. This joint knows how to serve up a breakfast like no other. Often waiting up to an hour for a table at peak weekend times, Calgarians happily wait for their turn to sit down and order a famous box'd poutine or freshly fried skillet in their uniquely decorated restaurants.

As businesses temporarily closed in Calgary this spring, OEB struggled along with them. They saw a large decrease in sales which made for a very challenging second quarter. However, the staff here are beyond grateful for the support they received throughout the pandemic, as their amazing customers continued to order for takeout while both curbside pickup and delivery options were offered. The business went from offering mostly dine-in service with some takeout to focusing most of their efforts on takeout, curbside pickup, delivery as well as increasing their grocery and retail offerings.

The best way to support OEB at this time is to order takeout or dine-in at one of their recently reopened Calgary locations, as this allows them to get back on their feet the quickest. Next time you plan on dining in at OEB, call for a reservation or use the Yelp Waitlist App to get your name on the list so that their staff can contact you prior to visiting the restaurant
