A barbeque joint located in the heart of Kensington, Hayden Block knows what it's talking about when it comes to saucing up their dishes. An original house-smoked Texas-style barbecue recipe, this restaurant smokes its meat for 10 to 14 hours to contain that flavour we all know and love. With two outdoor seating areas and handcrafted whiskey cocktails to quench your thirst, this is your one-stop-shop for all things barbeque, whiskey and delicious.

As with many other local restaurants, Hayden Block suffered during the city's shutdown. They remained open during COVID-19 for takeout and delivery, still serving up their delicious bites for their community. The restaurant offered unique set menus that would make your mouth water, tempting local Calgarians to get their fill of barbeque. Hayden Block has now adapted the inside of their restaurant and outdoor seating areas to abide by social distancing rules, so they are currently operating at a lower capacity for dine-in and would love to welcome you back.

You can support Hayden Block during this time by stopping in for some freshly smoked brisket or enjoying one of their whiskey concoctions on the patio. If you're not ready to come inside or prefer to enjoy your food at home, they are also offering pickup and delivery options.
