Usually hosting over 400 shows a year, the Ironwood Stage & Grill is a cornerstone of the Inglewood community. An accessible, all-ages restaurant and lounge, this joint is known for bringing people together through music. With a themed menu featuring opening acts, headliners and sideshows, the Ironwood is a great place to grab a bite pre- or post-show. This live music venue hosts local, national and international performers of all genres year-round so that Calgarians can get a little taste of everything.

Closing the restaurant and stage for three months had a huge impact on the Ironwood's business. However, the team behind this operation wanted to keep music alive during this time, so they have been livestreaming shows throughout the shutdown. Now that the venue has reopened, they continue to live stream their shows for those who don't feel comfortable coming into the restaurant just yet. The Ironwood is currently operating at a limited capacity and have implemented social distancing measures to ensure everyone's safety at their shows. There is also a limited schedule and menu during this time of reopening.

The team at this venue are also asking people to sign a petition requesting aid from the federal government to help support live music, as they were the first to close during this pandemic and will be the last to fully reopen their doors.
