"To provide great hair and a great experience" is RedBloom's slogan, and a promise of exactly what you'll experience at any of their four Calgary locations. This full-service hair salon has been providing Calgarians with top-notch service, unique cuts, and bold colours since 2004. As a former Best of Calgary winner, RedBloom continues to win the hearts of Calgarians across the city.

All four RedBloom salons closed on March 16th due to COVID-19 and reopened on May 27th. Although the two-and-a-half month closure was financially stressful for the company, the team at RedBloom became even closer and their systems grew tighter through the process. Upon reopening, the salon is now only able to use 50 per cent of their stations and have increased costs of PPE and safety measures due to the outbreak, so they have had to change their schedules and expand their business hours to adapt. Like many small businesses, the unknown of what these next six months will bring is critical in determining what else might need to change in order to remain a sustainable business.

The team at RedBloom Salon is proud to say that their community was absolutely incredible during their shutdown, from supportive emails and social media messages to regular check-ins and plenty of gift certificates purchased. The patience and support they felt during this time certainly played a role in the wellbeing of the company. In order to play catch up on all of that quarantine hair growth, RedBloom appreciates your continued patience and support as they try to help as many people as possible. They are now offering curbside retail as well as express colour services, where they apply your hair colour at the salon and wash it out at home. For now, we can continue to act responsibly, listen and follow Alberta Health Services directives.
