The secret behind this publication's success is that it is fiercely local, made for Calgarians by Calgarians.

Every aspect of Avenue's business and day-to-day work has been impacted by COVID-19 and its fallout. The company had to change their staffing and distribution, recalibrate all of their future plans, cancel events, change their publishing schedule and, of course, adapt their coverage as the city changed so drastically. Alongside partnership changes, Avenue is now working on figuring out new plans and directions to move forward.
