Presented by the Olympia Trust Company, Zoolights is a family-friendly event held each year from late November through to early January. Incorporating over two million lights across 200 displays with crackling fire pits and activity zones stationed throughout the Calgary Zoo, there’s no better way to experience the zoo in the winter months.

As a popular annual event, Zoolights helps to usher families into that festive holiday spirit, with Christmas-related activities and family fun. Grab a cup of hot chocolate, visit with Santa Claus, go ice skating or simply enjoy the natural, downtown scenery any night of the week. Even on the coldest of nights, you can always count on Zoolights to keep you warm and entertained. With popular returning designs, they never fail to amaze the crowd with new displays and creative arrangements. Last year, they had some phenomenal exhibits, particularly Snow White and the Seven Stewards of the forest live appearance and axe-throwing. As each year seems to get better and better, bookmark their website and circle back early November for more information.
