Located on 10th Ave on the same block as Commonwealth, Bridgette Bar is making a name for itself as the latest chef-driven bar in Calgary’s design district owned by the Concorde Group. The design and architecture will catch your eye as you make your way to your table to choose from a vast list of carefully crafted cocktails. The rustic-chic, mid-century vibe makes this two-storey space envy-worthy and you’ll be redesigning your own house in no time. The space is complete with exposed beam ceilings and elegant chandeliers.
If you sit near it, you can look into the open-concept kitchen where the wood-burning grill and wood-burning pizza oven are working hard to meet the chef’s demands. They serve both family-style and individual plates and have a simple late-night menu to keep the crowd satisfied. Two side notes, they are closed on Mondays and you can text them to see how busy the restaurant is so you know if it’s worth wandering down.
