A simple idea with extraordinary flare. Whether you want indoor or outdoor greenery, Plant offers a carefully curated selection of indoor and outdoor plants to liven up any living space. Selling a wide range of products and varieties, the store’s biggest seller are their handmade terrariums. The owners, Kyle and Erika Chow, came up with the idea after spotting the '70s-style creations on the West Coast and decided to bring them to Alberta.
Kyle started building little terrariums in his living room, heading to markets to reach a wider audience, and before you knew it, Plant opened its own store in Inglewood in 2014 and moved to its dream location in 2016. Enter the doors to this plant haven only to be welcomed by friendly staff with extensive horticultural knowledge, handmade goods, funky decor and plants of all varieties. They also host a variety of workshops in their retail space, like building your own terrarium and learning how to have a green thumb. From starting with a small idea in a living room to opening a retail store, we are overjoyed to present the Best Flower Shop in Calgary to a local cutie like this one.
